Vera Makina, (36) was born in Budapest, Hungary. She has been living and working in Paris since 2012. She gratuaded at the Hungarian University of Fine Arts as a graphic artist, but she works in a lot of different fields of visual art, making paintings, sculptures, animations, satirical illustrations and caricatures as well. Since a very young age she has participated in several group and solo exhibitions. Recently she has been illustrating for French newspapers (Mondafrique, Le Canard Enchainé).
