He was a fan of cartoons when he was very yong, so he chose to study art at the Fine Arts School of Algiers. But, disillusioned with the school’s narrow definition of art, he decided to go study physics at the University of Setif,and he graduated in theoretical physics. While, he was a teacher, he published his first cartoon in 2005, since then, he tried to improve himself by experiencing new styles and techniques. Now, at age 34, He draws daily for « El Watan » , the main Algerian french-speaking newspaper, and other magazines like “The Africa Report” and “Jeune Afrique”.
